Our Mission: The mission of The Virginia Veteran is to serve as a resource and informational outlet for veterans, servicemembers, and their families.
The Virginia Veteran addresses critical issues facing veterans and their families, including mental health injuries, PTSD, health care, and GI Bill educational benefits.
Our History: The Virginia Veteran was created in June of 2009 by Executive Editor Justin Brown, in order to create a resource and informational outlet specifically for veterans of Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland. The Virginia Veteran has fast become one of the go to site amongst veterans, and friends of veterans, for news, exclusives, and up-to-date information regarding veterans issues and our nation’s servicemembers.
